If the detonation has enough force to blow apart the structure of a bus then it would definitely have no problem rendering Snake Eyes into meaty fist sized hunks. The only way he could survive that would be through plot device or mad science, which is a plot device.
Assuming he's in fact made of some material outside of fleshy bits he could in theory survive but be minus a limb or two.
We can further asertain if survival is assumed that it is possible that infact the weapon has not exploded but the gas tank of the bus has detonated instead.
Or maybe there are suicide bombers
Or maybe this is a different bus
Or maybe this is the same bus at a later time after he has left, coveniently forgeting his carry on.
Or the laws of rationality could just not apply and he could have been "blown clear"
I'm in favor of mad science. Probably with a new left arm, leg, and eye. Modifications to the torso are also probable.
The bus recieved more damage because the explosion was inside the bus. Snake Eyes was merely to the side of the explosion and though he was in close proximity, it did more to launch him away than to burn him.
If he had eaten the gun he'd be screwed.
Oh, and by the way. this is why it would not have been a good idea for Dart to shoot the gun a second time.
