So good new is, I've got less than 20 pages before this comic is finished. the bad news is most of the pages will be as long as this one.
Shinji may have taken a large amount of creative license with this flashback. Frankly, He never even met David or Snakeeyes at that age, he just heard about them. Child's memory at work.
