Another time when I tried to get as much of the comic done during my lunch break instead of at the computer. Sort of blew up in my face. I ended up just doubling my work. Of course, this was when I was still working in flash.

My brother used to have this huge pink panther stuffed animal. I hated that thing. I would beat it up all the time. Not sure why I hated it, though.

Quat's family stray far from their bloodline, her ears are a genetic defect. I was going to explain that in a comic after this one, but I decided I was getting off track.

I have a bad habit of making super subtle jokes with my characters' names and just never bringing them up again. Not because I want the readers to discover little secrets about the comic, but because I don't want to admit that the jokes are really terrible, but I still want to put them in the comic.
There I confessed it.

Lots of Full body drawings during this... and I still wasn't good at drawing full bodies, and I really didn't have a well established background for this scene. Past me did this to himself.

My job left me away from the computer a lot. I had plenty of time to work on the rough drafts of the comic on notebook paper, but making the final version on flash was getting harder and harder.

Ugh, huge mistake on dart in the last panel. His horizon line is on his shoulder and then ANOTHER horizon line is on his hip. That's what happens when you only draw from the shoulder up for too long.

If I knew back then how hilarious these two were together, I would have cut back to these two more often during Quat's story.
